John Stuble
John Stuble, 77, of East Washington Street, Harrisville, died Saturday at his home in Harrisville.
He was born Feb. 1, 1935, in Linden, N.J., the son of the late John and Mary (Krupa) Stuble.
He was married to the late Bernadine J. (Lombardo) Stuble, who died Oct. 21, 1997.
Mr. Stuble was a truck driver for McLean Trucking for 14 years. He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Parish and the Army National Guard. He enjoyed fishing and camping, and he was a member of the Boyer's Sportsmen's Club in Boyers.
He is survived by three sons, John B. Stuble and his wife, Georgia, of Harrisville, Stephen W. Stuble and his wife, Jodi, of Wampum, Pa., and Benny G. Stuble of Lebanon, Pa.; a daughter, Johna M. Quahliero of Princeton, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert 'Red' Guncy; one sister, Charlotte Stuble; his son-in-law, Vince Quahliero; one granddaughter; and one grandson.
STUBLE — Visitation for John Stuble, who died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, will be at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave., New Castle, from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Vincent de Paul Church. Father Frank Almade of the St. Vincent de Paul Church will officiate. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m.Burial will be in the St. Lucy Cemetery.
