Albert J. Botti

Albert J. Botti, 92, of Butler passed away Friday evening at VA Butler Healthcare.

Born in Butler on June 11, 1922, he was the son of the late Serafino and Diana Nuti Botti.

He was a retired self-employed landscaper.

A veteran of World War II, Albert served in the U.S. Army 324th Engineers of the 99th Division. He fought in France, Belgium and Germany, and he fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Albert was a member of the Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Debra Botti of Butler; one son, Dean Botti of Addison, Texas; several in-laws; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Mancino Botti, who passed away Dec. 25, 1983, and three sisters.

BOTTI — There will be no visitation for Albert J. Botti, who died Friday, April 17, 2015. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel at Saint Michael's Cemetery. Military honors will be at the cemetery by the VFW Post 249 of Butler and the American Legion Post 778 of Lyndora.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.Please see www.martinfh.net for more information.
