Ronald “R.J.” J. Hume, 44, of Butler passed away Friday at his home.

Born Nov. 22, 1971, in Butler, he was a son of Ronald G. Hume and the late Carol Ann Hume.

He was employed by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers as an electrician.

He enjoyed hunting, bowling and golfing.

He is survived by his father, Ronald G. Hume of Butler; his sister, Lisa (Richard) Foringer of Butler; two nephews, Ryan and Justin; two grandnieces; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

HUME — Friends of Ronald “R.J.” J. Hume, who died Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Tara R. Lynn, pastor of the Grace at Calvary Lutheran Church, officiating.
