Shirley Hilliard
In loving memory of our beloved mom and grandma, Shirley Hilliard, who passed away 14 years ago on May 27.
If roses grow in Heaven,
Lord, please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother’s arms
And tell her they’re from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
And when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek
And hold her for awhile.
I awake each morning to start a new day,
But the pain of losing you never goes away.
I go about the things I have to do,
And as the hours pass, I think again of you.
I want to call you and just hear your voice.
Then I remember that I have no choice,
For you are not there and now my heart cries
Just to see you again, to tell you goodbye.
To say, “Mom, I love you and I always will,”
Mom, you shall be forever a part of me.
Sadly missed and forever loved,
George, Margie and Kids
