Patricia Kovacik Bush passed away April 22, 2023, at Constant Care Assisted Living in Scottsdale, Ariz., from complications with Parkinson’s.

She was born in October 1940, in Butler, to Mary Dubyak Kovacik and Anthony Joseph Kovacik.

Pat graduated from Butler High School in 1958, and went on to further her education at the Carnegie Institute of Pittsburgh and studied art there. She was selected to exhibit her artwork numerous times at the Carnegie Museum.

She was employed at the Peoples Telephone Corporation as an engineering draftsman.

She married Robert Bush in 1963, and moved to Tuscon, Ariz. They moved to Phoenix in 1968. She worked part time managing Robert Bush Insurance in Scottsdale, Ariz., until Robert retired in 1999. She volunteered many hours in community service and did other volunteer work at the Phoenix Zoo Auxiliary, Zoological Society, Fiesta Bowl and numerous other organizations.

She is survived by her sisters, Nancy Howard and Antonette (Toni) Fennick; and her son, Rick Bush (Jennifer).

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sebastian, Caden and Kennedy.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bob; her son, Robert.

She was an amazing woman and will be missed.
