Paul F. Meyer, 78, of Evans City passed away Thursday.

Born Aug. 11, 1933, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Paul L. and Elsie Wise Meyer.

Paul was the proud owner of Meyer’s Tire Service in Zelienople and Beaver Falls. During his free time, he enjoyed hunting and traveling. Above all, he was a man who was dedicated to his family and businesses.

He is survived by his four children, Jeffery P. Meyer and his wife, Denise, of Chippewa, Stephen Meyer and his wife, Michele, of Ellwood City, Paul Meyer and his wife, Sandi, of Evans City and John L. Meyer and his wife, Stacy, of Evans City; his brother, Kenneth J. Meyer of Slippery Rock; two sisters, Gracie Resek and her husband, John, of Slippery Rock and Maryann Dellich and her husband, George, of Barkeyville; his son-in-law, Donald Dambaugh of Evans City; and 11 grandchildren, Brandon Meyer, Eric Meyer, Mathew Meyer and his wife, Krystal, Lisa Meyer, Paul Meyer II, Abigail Spurk and her husband, Edward, Lucy Meyer, Kenneth Dambaugh and his wife, Stephanie, Melissa Shrestha and her husband, Dipendra, Christine (Cory Black) Dambaugh and Dyanna Boosel and her husband, Adam. He also is survived by 10 precious great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years who passed away on April 27, 2010, Patricia Rheam Meyer, who he married on Feb. 3, 1953, and his daughter, Cathy Dambaugh, who passed away on Dec. 18, 2000.
