Henrietta Elizabeth Auel Maurhoff

Henrietta Elizabeth Auel Maurhoff

Henrietta Elizabeth Auel Maurhoff, 92, of Cabot passed away Monday.

She was the beloved wife of the late Elmer Maurhoff; dear mother of William Maurhoff and Norma DiMartino; and dear sister of the late Emma Auel and Ruth Ann Cerny.

Henrietta was adored and admired by all who were blessed to have known her. She was a beautiful Christian example to all, especially her children; her children's spouses, Linda Maurhoff and Lawrence DiMartino; her six grandchildren; and her 11 great-grandchildren.

She had a gentle kindness about her and used her time and talents to honor the Lord. Her grandchildren remember her best for her Bible lessons each summer at the cottage. Her community appreciated her service in many organizations including the Lutheran Woman's Missionary League, where she served as president, and the 24 years she served on the board at Concordia Lutheran Home.

Gram, we are so saddened to have to say goodbye, but joyful in the knowledge that you are at peace with the Lord and reunited with Pap and your loved ones that have gone before you. We love you and are comforted in the knowledge that we will be reunited again some day.
