The Butler County Special Olympics volleyball team came home with a silver medal to highlight a weekend spent at the Pennsylvania State Special Olympics FallFestival at Villanova University.

The volleyball team members are Bruce Pryor, Val Stiffy, Joe Osche, Ryan Burgoon, Dan Harlan and Anthony Scuilio.

Haley Spohn, Alex Weber and Marcie Neill won gold medals in the individual volleyball skills competition.

Judy Bell and Johanna Nicholson won silver medals in the same category and Michael Olexsak placed fourth.

Kristen Lindsey and Jeff Walsh along with Tim Spence and Don Monn won silver medals in the doubles bocce competition, a new event in the Special Olympics this year.

The game of the year didn't change the top of The Associated Press poll.Ohio State was No. 1 and Michigan was No. 2 in the Top 25 on Sunday.The Big Ten rivals have held the top two spots in the media poll since Oct. 15. After the Buckeyes beat the Wolverines 42-39 in Columbus on Saturday in their regular-season finale, the voters decided to keep them there.

MIYAZAKI, Japan — Tiger Woods squandered a three-stroke lead with six holes left, then lost to Padraig Harrington on the second hole of a playoff Sunday at the Dunlop Phoenix.Harrington capped a remarkable comeback with a tap-in birdie to prevent Woods from winning the tournament for the third straight year.Harrington played the back nine in 4 under. The Irishman then birdied both extra holes. Harrington and Woods shot 3-under-par 67s to finish at 9-under 271, one shot ahead of Japan's Keiichiro Fukabori, whose 30-foot eagle putt at the final hole lipped out, depriving him of a playoff spot.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Two days after turning 20, LPGA rookie Julieta Granada got her first victory and took home the first $1 million prize in women's golf.Granada shot a bogey-free round of 68 Sunday, beating an eight-player final-round field to win the ADT Championship and take home most of the event's $1.55 million purse.
