A pet first-aid course will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Butler County Red Cross office, 312 Mercer St. The class provides hands-on training for many issues faced by pet owners. SAXONBURG — The annual fall festival at Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 17 on Main Street in Saxonburg.The event includes crafts, baked goods, barbecued chicken, apple butter, a Chinese auction and a snack bar.
