McKinney

Shirley Ann McKinney, 86, of Chicora, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Seasons of Saxonburg.

She was born May 3, 1937, in Bradford, and was the daughter of the late Harold C. McKinney and Beulah (Alworth) McKinney.

Shirley was an inactive member of United Methodist Church of Bradford and attended Concord Presbyterian Church.

In her early years, she had been a registered radiology technologist and retired from JC Penney after 37 years.

She is survived by her cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Leroy McKinney, whom she married on July 28, 1962, and who passed away Sept. 5, 2013.

MCKINNEY — Per her request, there will be no viewing for Shirley Ann McKinney, who died Saturday, May 20, 2023.

A private graveside service was held at West Sunbury Union Cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by YOUNG FUNERAL HOME in Butler.
