Mildred M. Magee, 89, of Harmony, died Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Concordia of Cranberry.

Mildred was born in New Castle on June 27, 1933, and was the daughter of James T. and Hazel M. Stoops Aiken.

She had been a tax collector in Perry Township for over 20 years, as well as a housewife.

Mildred was a member of the Mountville Presbyterian Church in Portersville, where she had served as an elder and a deacon. She was also a member of the Keenagers in Portersville.

Mildred was an avid baker and cook, and was known for her baked goods and barbecue chicken. She loved to garden and spend time with her beloved family.

Survivors include two sons, Scott Magee of Stoneboro, and Shawn Magee of New Castle; three daughters, Debbie (Scott) Overcashier of Harmony, Jill (Kevin) Sas of Harmony, and Kim (Jeff) Cable of Harmony; one sister, Linda (Ronald) McCombs of Hubbard, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Ann L. Magee of Stewartville, Minn.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Magee, whom she married on March 28, 1953, and who died March 22, 2020; five brothers, Charles, Merle, Robert, James and David; and two sisters, Norma and Marilyn.

MAGEE — There will be no public visitation for Mildred M. Magee, who died Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.

Burial will be in the Mountville Cemetery in Portersville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mountville Cemetery Association, or to the Mountville Presbyterian Church of Portersville.

Arrangements were entrusted to the JAY BRYAN FUNERAL HOME in Prospect.
