Gloria J. Raiders
Gloria J. Raiders, 73, of Butler passed away Friday evening at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Born in Pittsburgh on Feb. 13, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Virginia Jones Ford.
Gloria was retired from Walmart, where she worked as a cashier.
She was a Catholic.
She is survived by her husband, George T. Raiders Sr., to whom she was married for 54 years; one son, George T. Raiders Jr. and his wife, Michelle, of Allison Park; one daughter, Gloria J. Jackson and her husband, Tobie, of Butler; five brothers, Harold “Bud” Ford and his wife, Johanna, of Beaver, Jack Ford and his wife, Carol, of North Carolina, Edward Ford and his wife, Mary Ann, of New Jersey, Richard Ford and his wife, Val, of Pittsburgh, and James Ford and his wife, Cindy, of Worthington; and two sisters, Patricia Karadus and her husband, Jack, of Mt. Pleasant, Pa., and Mary Mence and her husband, Edward, of Pittsburgh.
She also is survived by five grandchildren, Christopher Cunningham, Daniel Cunningham, Colleen Cunningham, Ashley Raiders, and Samantha Jackson; four great-grandchildren, Noah Cunningham, Braden Cunningham, Hannah Cunningham and Audra Franklin; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Raiders, who passed away Friday, May 2, 2014, will be received at the MARTIN FUNERAL HOME INC., 429 Center Ave., Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Butler.
