Anna R. Kaschik, 97, of Butler passed away Tuesday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Butler.

Born on March 8, 1917, in Evans City, she was a daughter of the late Braden and Emma Barkley Lutz.

She worked as a clerk for Kaschik Bakery, retiring in 1987 following 30 years service. She was also a homemaker and was employed by MSA in Callery as a production worker for eight years.

She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Lyndora. She was also a member of Lake Arthur Country Club. She enjoyed golfing and bowling.

Surviving are two sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicolas Kaschik, who passed away on Aug. 7, 2004; one sister; and two brothers.
