Barry J. “Jim” Ernhardt, 64, of Forward Township passed away on Sunday while under the care of the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Born Aug. 7, 1954, in Los Angeles, Calif., he was the son of the late John Ernhardt and Helen Simon Ernhardt.

Barry was an avid gun collector and belonged to the Allegheny County Rifle Club.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 43 years, Linda Groskinsky Ernhardt, whom he married on April 26, 1975; his children, Michelle Ernhardt, Gregory Ernhardt and his companion, Liana Pascoe, and Braden Ernhardt; his grandchildren, Liana and Jamie Lynn Ernhardt; his brother, Ronald Ernhardt and his wife, Alice; and his sister, Pat Schmidt.

ERNHARDT — Friends of Barry J. “Jim” Ernhardt, who died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E.
