HERSHEY — Pennsylvania American Water is offering post-secondary scholarship assistance to 10 students in the company's service areas.

The program of $2,000 scholarships is for students who are studying in specific fields that are crucial to the water and wastewater industry.

The company mailed scholarship brochures and applications to high school guidance counselors in its service territory. Applications, which are also available at www.pennsylvaniaamwater.com, must be postmarked or received by Feb. 12.

Family members of Pennsylvania American Water employees are not eligible.
