Harrisville resident named All-PAC

TRAFFORD — Harrisville resident and Westminster College senior baseball pitcher Kolton Banfi has been named second team All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference.

The right-hander was 5-2 this season with a 3.69 earned run average in six starts. He was named PAC Pitcher of the Week on April 3.

GCC’s Leslie, Vittone get all-conference

GROVE CITY — Butler graduate and Grove City Collerge sophomore pitcher David Leslie, Seven Fields resident and junior shortstop Luke Vittone have been named first and second team All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference, respectively, in baseball.

Leslie was 5-2 with a 2.49 ERA in seven PAC starts this season. He struck out 41 and allowed only 35 hits in 47 conference innings.

Vittone hit leadoff for the Wolverines and shared the team lead with 48 runs scored. He led the team with 16 stolen bases, hitting .309 with five home runs and 25 RBI.

Butler grad Lynn named All-AMCC

NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. — Butler graduate and Mount Aloysius second baseman Ryan Lynn has been named second team All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference in baseball.

Lynn hit .302 this season, connecting for six home runs and a team-leading 32 RBI. Both marks were career-highs.

McNany teammates honored by AMCC

ERIE — A-C Valley graduate Cami McNany and Seneca Valley graduate Jocelyn McNany of Penn State Behrend have received first and second team selections to the All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference softball team.

Cami earned her third all-conference selection in four years. The senior had 24 hits, 178 RBI and two homers from the Lions’ designated player position.

Jocelyn earned her second All-AMCC selection at first base. The sophomore led the team with 45 hits, 32 RBI and 14 doubles.

KC graduate Stitt makes all-academic

CLARION — Karns City graduate and Clarion University senior softball outfielder Alyssa Stitt has been named to the Academic All-District team and is now on the ballot for Academic All-America.

Stitt is carrying a 3.89 grade point average as a criminal justice major. She led the Golden Eagles with a .340 batting average and shattered single-season program records for RBI, hits and total bases.
