Jay P. LaMond
Jay P. LaMond, 82, of Sherwood Oaks, Cranberry Township, formerly of Adams Township, died Thursday at Sherwood Oaks.
Born in Detroit, Mich., on Dec. 26, 1933, he was the son of Robert and Lottie LaMond.
An entrepreneur, Jay was the owner of Guide Post Research.
He was a member of St. Kilian Church, where he belonged to the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are his children, Stephen Jay LaMond of Burlingame, Calif., Dr. David Nicholas LaMond (Natalie) of Hendersonville, N.C., Linda Marie LaMond (David Swain) of San Rafael, Calif., and Michele LaMond Kaiser (Richard) of Harmony; his grandchildren, Daniel, William, Richard, Christopher, Samuel, Teresa, Sarah, Alysse, John David and Bobby; his great-granddaughter, Chloe; one sister, Gloria Andrew and her husband, Gene, of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Armock LaMond, who he married Sept. 7, 1957, and who died Dec. 29, 2011; his brothers, Warren, Gaylord and Robert; and one sister, Marilyn Schuff.
LAMOND — Friends of Jay P. LaMond, who died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, are invited to a mass of Christian burial in St. Kilian Church, corner of Clark and Cherry streets in Mars, at noon on Monday.
