Daniel E. Mohr

Daniel E. Mohr, 78, of Cranberry Township passed away Tuesday.

Born June 11, 1937, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lois (Gaurino) Mohr.

Daniel worked as a machinist in the steel mill and as an armed security officer, which he enjoyed. He also spent 10 years working in the sporting department at Walmart.

Daniel was a veteran of the Coast Guard and a member of St. Peter's Reformed Church. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA and a former member of Mars Rod Gun Club.

In his free time, Daniel enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and racing his truck. He cherished his beloved Rottweiler, Schultz.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Ann (Scott) Colwell of Beaver Falls; his son, Joseph Donald (Lena) Mohr of Dover, Tenn.; his brother, Terry (Georgia Jean) Mohr of Cranberry Township; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys M. Mohr, who passed away Jan. 10, 2008; his son, Daniel Lee Mohr; and his brother, Joseph Mohr.

MOHR — A memorial service for Daniel E. Mohr, who died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, will be in his honor at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Reformed Church Fellowship Hall, 320 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
