Dolphin D. Stalker
Dolphin D. Stalker, 83, of Eau Claire passed away Saturday at his home after an extended illness.
Born on April 3, 1930, in Butler, he was the son of James Orris Stalker and Berta A. Florence Henderson.
Dolphin married Cynthia “Jean” Lipscomb on June 12 1954, in Homestead, Pa., and she survives. They would have celebrated their 60 year anniversary next year.
Dolphin was self employed for over 50 years as a truck driver. He most recently worked for Hunters Truck Sales in Eau Claire as a driver, moving tractor trailers from store to store.
Dolphin was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was honorably discharged on Dec. 11, 1947.
Dolphin was also a member of the F&AM 521 Parker City Allegheny Valley Lodge. For the past 10 years, he and his wife enjoyed wintering in Florida.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters, Debra M. Stalker and Audrey Brown, both of North Carolina, and a son, James D. Stalker of Eau Claire.
STALKER — A private family service for Dolphin D. Stalker, who passed away Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, will be held later. Interment will take place at the Eau Claire Cemetery.The Larry E.
