Robert Gerald Lintz, 83, of Chicora, passed away on May 10, 2023, at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born Dec. 20, 1939, in Zelienople, and was the son of the late Charles Norman Lintz and the late Earla (Nelson) Lintz.

Robert was a 1960 graduate of Evans City High School.

He worked as an assembler for Westinghouse.

Robert enjoyed mowing grass, hunting, fishing, puzzles and word searches.

Robert is survived by his one daughter, Janet Greenley of Butler; four grandchildren, Liam Greenley of Butler, Ethan Greenley of Butler, Aleksey Chesnavich of Butler, and Elijah Chesnavich of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kay (Oesterling) Lintz, whom he married on July 25, 1970, and who passed away on Sept. 14, 2022; one brother, Edward Lintz; and five sisters, Betty Lintz, Beverly Lintz, Judy Fanfarilli, Joy Steiner and Chryl Krieger.

LINTZ — Friends of Robert Gerald Lintz, who died Wednesday, May 10, 2023, will be received from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. Tuesday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler, with the Rev. Robert Edmundson officiating.
