The board Tuesday night:

Heard 2014 graduate T.J. Pieffer ask for approval to stage a production on July 9, 10, and 11 of the musical “Annie” at the Mars High School auditorium. Pieffer said he will expand the cast to include middle and Centennial School students. The board approved the request.

Approved paying $57,077 to HP Financial Services for the three-year lease of 660 laptop computers for the middle school. Acting Superintendent William Pettigrew said the units now in the middle school computer labs will be moved to the Centennial School. He hopes to have the program running by Feb. 15 at the middle school.
