Ronnie K. Holcomb
Ronnie K. Holcomb, 66, of Herman died unexpectedly Sunday at the emergency department of Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Sacramento, Calif., on Aug. 10, 1945, a son of Purvis K. and Mary Ann Coarse Holcomb.
He was retired as a driver for the Port Authority of Allegheny County, where he had worked for more than 18 years. Before that, he had been a draftsman and machinist for the Matthews Machine Co. in Sharpsburg.
Ron was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman, and was an active member of the Legion of Mary organization at St. Mary’s.
Surviving are four children, Ronald M. Clifton and his wife, Erin, of Michigan, Rosemary Holcomb of Pittsburgh, John H. Holcomb of Butler and Jacob K. Holcomb of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Edward Blair, and Jon and Elijah Clifton; and one sister, Velma (Frank) Lex.
He was preceded in death by a stepbrother that was killed in action in Vietnam.

Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 821 Herman Road, Butler. Interment will be at the parish cemetery.
