Tree sale open for business

The annual Butler Lions Club Christmas tree sale starts at noon Saturday at the Butler High School stadium. The sale is open from 5 to 8 p.m. weekdays, starting at 9 a.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. Sundays until all trees are sold.

The Oneida Valley Volunteer Fire Department, Route 38, will sponsor a craft and vendor show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.Children's activities and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus will be provided.

SAXONBURG — Saxonburg Library has new hours.The library is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The library is closed Fridays and Sundays.

EVANS CITY — St. John's United Church of Christ, 501 E. Main St., will host a Christmas cookie sale and Nativity Exposition from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.The expo features more than 40 Nativity displays in the sanctuary and second-floor narthex. The cookie sale starts at 10 a.m. until sellout in the first-floor fellowship hall.
