Zachary Jordan Cheeseman
Zachary Jordan Cheeseman, 19, of Portersville, Muddy Creek Township, passed away at 7:29 p.m. Tuesday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, as a result of an auto accident in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.
He was born in Butler on Aug. 9, 1992, to George Milich Jr. and Jennifer R. Cheeseman.
He attended St. Gregory Catholic School in Zelienople and Slippery Rock High School. He enjoyed working with his family at the Cheeseman Farm and planned to attend the Motorcycle Mechanic Institute in Phoenix, Ariz., in three weeks.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Portersville. He was an avid dirt bike rider and enjoyed other motor sports. He was very passionate about what he wanted, and he enjoyed the finer things in life. He had many friends and will be missed greatly by his family.
Surviving are his mother, Jennifer R. Cheeseman of Portersville; his father, George Milich Jr. and stepmother, Lisa, of Portersville; his stepfather, Shawn Leddon of Ellwood City; his brothers, Mason, Devin, Rob and Josh; his sister, Brittainy; his girlfriend, Heather Brinker of Slippery Rock; his great-grandparents, George and Grace Cheeseman of Portersville; his maternal grandparents, Vic and Betsy Cheeseman of Portersville; his paternal grandparents, George Milich Sr. and Bonnie Jean Milich of Butler; aunts and uncles, Jill and Adam Bruton, Dan and Becky Cheeseman, Rade and Janet Milich, Dan and Roni Milich, and Bill Milich; and a number of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, David and Marian Davenport.
CHEESEMAN — Services for Zachary Jordan Cheeseman, who passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012, will be at the Presbyterian Church of Portersville, Perry Highway, Portersville, at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Dana Opp presiding. Family and friends will be received at the
Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock, from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.Memorial contributions may be given to donor’s choice in Zachary’s name.
