Thomas R. Hutzley

Thomas R. “Tom” Hutzley, 67, of Butler passed away Friday at 12:37 p.m. at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 24, 1945, in Butler to the late Paul R. Hutzley and Eleanor Jean Gaiser Hutzley.

Mr. Hutzley worked in the magnetics lab in the metallurgical department at Butler Armco and AK Steel for 37 years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of 540 Argyle Lodge F.&A.M. in Chicora, the Chicora Moose 962, the Italian Society Club of Butler and the Butler Area Street Machine Association.

Mr. Hutzley is survived by one brother, Brian K. Hutzley and his wife, Carol, of Renfrew; one sister, Darlene McDonald and her husband, David, of West Sunbury; four nephews, Bradley Hutzley, Tyler Hutzley, David McDonald and Daniel McDonald and his wife, Kim; one great nephew, Beau McDonald; and also by one great niece, Grace Hutzley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Paul L. Hutzley.

HUTZLEY — Friends of Thomas R. “Tom” Hutzley, who died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St. Butler.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert C. Huber of North Street Christian Church officiating.Private burial will take place in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity.Online condolences can be given at www.thompson-miller.com.
