Uldine R. Frishkorn
Uldine R. Frishkorn, 84, of Evans City passed away Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born May 7, 1929, in Milltown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Dora Leasher.
Uldine was a member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Evans City, and was an active member of the Evans City Senior Center.
Throughout the years, she worked at the Zelienople Greenhouse, the Auto Auction, Thompson's restaurant in Harmony for 10 years, and for Hawk's Brothers Cleaners in Evans City and Mars for 25 years.
An avid sportsman, she was a competitive trap shooter with her husband and was awarded numerous medals. Uldine enjoyed line dancing, crafts, bingo and bowling. She loved life and will be remembered for her fun loving spirit.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her stepdaughter, Janice Mae Waldemyer; her grandchildren, Cheryl Alverado and Jeffrey Lee Waldemyer; her four great-grandchildren; her brother, Thomas Leasher, and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Frishkorn, who passed away on March 19, 2010; her brother, John Leasher, and her sister, Sara Mae McDonald.
Frishkorn — The family of Uldine R. Frishkorn, who passed away Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, will welcome friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A funeral ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. David R.
