Leonard W. Fish, 75, of Cabot passed away Friday at the Good Samaritan Unit at Concordia.

Born Oct. 30, 1940, in Cabot, he was the son of Walter Fish and Elizabeth Ann Brunner Fish.

Len

served in the U.S. Navy from 1961 to 1966.

He worked as a head repairman for AL Steel in Brackenridge.

He was a member of the Cabot United Methodist Church, the Winfield Volunteer Fire Department, BCFPA and the Saxonburg American Legion Post 683.

He enjoyed hunting, camping and campfires. He loved calling bingo.

Surviving are his wife, Veronica Judith (Veri) Fish, who he married Aug. 26, 1978; two sons, Dan Fish of Cabot and Brian (Betty Jo) Fish of Herman; his daughter, Monica (Larry) Gifford, of Cabot; two stepdaughters, Jean (Ray) Kilgore of Cowansville and Cindy (Mike) Cypher of Cabot; two stepsons, Roger (Karen) Zier of Sarver and Tim (Millie) Zier of Butler; two brothers, Joe Fish of Cabot and Vernon (Jackie) Fish of Cabot; his sister, Fay (Wes) Otto of Rural Valley; one grandson, Colton Fish; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death his parents; two sisters, Pearl Bowser and Elizabeth Atkinson; and an infant son, Nathan Scott Fish.

FISH — Friends of Leonard W. Fish, who died Friday, April 1, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jason McQueen officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Dorseyville, with military honors to be performed by the Saxonburg American Legion.Memorial donations may be made to the Cabot United Methodist Church or Good Samaritan Hospice.For information, visit www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
