Gladys M. Leithold
Gladys Mae (Sumney) Leithold, 92, of Indiana, Pa., passed away peacefully on Friday at Crystal Waters Personal Care in Home.
She was born Feb. 22, 1923, in Fenelton to the late Eugene and Clara (Snodgrass) Sumney.
Early in her life, she worked at the mushroom mines and later at Altmeyer's Home Store in Butler.
She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Worthington.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing embroidery throughout her life. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be sadly and greatly missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Gladys Branan Spramelli and her husband, Frank, of Indiana; her grandchildren, Susan Adams, Jeffrey Adams Sr. (Karyn) and Gina Bruce (Troy); her great-grandchildren, Taylor Hollobaugh (Chad), Jeffrey Adams Jr. and Collin Bruce; her brother, Glenn Sumney; her sister, Delma Carpenter; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Arnold Branan; her second husband, Victor Leithold; and her sister, Dorothy.
LEITHOLD — Friends of Gladys Mae (Sumney) Leithold, who died Friday, April 3, 2015, will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until the time of services at noon on Tuesday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington. The Rev.
