VERONA — Sean Knapp and Rob Voltz finished first and second, respectively, and St. Jude Golf Club won the 2007 WPGAJamison Cup at Longue Vue this week.

The Chicora-based facility had a team score of 610, eight strokes better than The Club at Nevillewood, in the 36-hole event.

Knapp carded a 1-over-par 143 while Voltz finished four strokes back at 147. Dave Ruffaner tied for 17th with a 158 and Noah Tuminella tied for 25th with a 163 for St. Jude.

BUTLER TWP— Butler High graduate Sam Karns had 13 kills and eight solo blocks Friday as the Butler County Community College woman's volleyball team beat Potomac (W.Va.) State, 30-25, 30-12, 30-15.Moniteau graduate Haley McFeaters added 16 digs and Crystal Emery had 16 aces for the Pioneers, who host Franciscan at 7 p.m. Monday.
