Sandra K. Glidden

Sandra K. Glidden, 74, of Ellwood Road, New Castle, passed away Tuesday evening at Jameson Hospital.

Sandra was born on Sept. 29, 1941, in West Sunbury to the late Henry and Mabel Ellis Steiner. She was married to Edward Campbell and then Edward Glidden Jr., both of whom preceded her in death.

Sandra had worked as an executive secretary at the Children's Advocacy Center, Human Services of Lawrence County and the Youth Development Center at varying times of her career.

She was a member of Shenango Presbyterian Church, where she had served as an elder. She also enjoyed monthly luncheons with her “Golden Girls.”

Sandra is survived by her children, Christie and Bobby Campbell Belles of Kittanning, Timothy V. and Stacey Campbell of New Castle and Scot A. and Natalie Campbell of Sharpsville, Pa.; her grandchildren, Katie and Dan Beighley, Alex O'Brien, Kyle Campbell, Kelsey Campbell, Alyssa Belles, Liam Campbell and Rory Campbell; her brother, Kenneth and Norma Steiner of Petrolia; her sister, Charlene and Gary Fleeger of Butler; and her companion, Ernie Toth.

GLIDDEN — Visitation for Sandra K. Glidden, who died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Turner-Myers Funeral Home, 208 N. Jefferson St., New Castle.
