William H. “Bill” Hoffman, 84, of New Kensington, formerly of Saxonburg, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at his home.

Born April 25, 1939, in North Apollo, Pa., he was the son of Homer S. Hoffman and Betty Jasper Hoffman.

Bill attended Harvest Baptist Church. He had been a manager for Altmeyer's Home Stores. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a carrier and was owner of Hoffman Wood Products, where he was known as the Birdhouse Man. Bill had spent many years volunteering at Sunnyview and Concordia.

Surviving are his wife, Cheryl Dunlap Hoffman; two sons, Rocky (Debbie) Hoffman of Cabot and Randy (Jules) Hoffman of Durham, N.C.; his brother, Robert (Linda) Hoffman of Florida; his sister, Judy (Paul) Criswell of South Carolina; and three grandchildren, Zakary, Nathan and Ashley.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Homer Lee Hoffman

HOFFMAN — Friends of William H. “Bill” Hoffman, who died Sunday, April 30, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, Saxonburg. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev. Joe Miller officiating.

Interment will follow in Westminster Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Sarver.
