The moment that you passed away my heart split in two

One side was filled with memories

The other side died with you

I often lay awake at night

When the world is fast asleep

And take a walk down memory lane

With tears upon my cheek

I hold you tight within my heart

And there will always be, a you and me

Life goes on with out you

But it’s just not the same

Just as God sends the gentle rain

He also softens heartfelt pain
