Catherine Bosch

Catherine Mary Bosch, 68, of Slippery Rock, West Liberty Borough, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.

She was born in Pittsburgh on Jan. 30, 1945 to George E. Marshall and Catherine Goselin Marshall.

She married Richard Carl Bosch on June 6, 1964.

She attended St. George Parish School in Allegheny County. She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Slippery Rock, and had at one time served with the Christian Mothers.

She had worked at the former Kroger Grocery in Grove City for a brief time and later operated the kitchen for ARMCO Golf Club. She was an excellent cake decorator and did catering for weddings. She catered her husband’s 50th high school class reunion. She enjoyed creating, buying and selling crafts.

She is survived by her husband, Richard C. Bosch of Slippery Rock; her three daughters, Greta Marie Dailey and her husband, Daniel, of Slippery Rock, Carrie Ann Senge and her husband, Joseph, of Slippery Rock and Kimberly Sue Humphrey and her husband, Brent, of Hubert, N.C.; her two sons, Mark Richard Bosch and his wife, Tonya, of Slippery Rock and Michael Carl Bosch of Slippery Rock; her sister, Marian “Cindy” Zeilinski and her husband, Joseph, of North Hills; two half-brothers, James Dugan of Tennessee and William Dugan of Pittsburgh; and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, Catherine A. Marshall Dugan; daughter, Catherine Mary Bosch; two brothers, Robert and Edward “Skippy;” a sister, Roberta “Bobbi” Cenkener; and a granddaughter, Tiffani Z. Maxwell.

BOSCH — Friends of Catherine Mary Bosch, who passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013, will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.Services will be at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Saturday with Father Kevin Poecking, pastor of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be at West Liberty Cemetery.
