HARRISBURG, Va. — Butler graduate Annie Lowry, a senior on the James Madison University women's soccer team, was selected to the 2007 National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-America team.
Lowry led the Dukes with 10 goals, including five game-winning scores, this season. She ended her career ranked sixth all-time at JMUwith 28 goals and 74 points.
A senior forward, Lowry earlier became the first JMUplayer to earn all-region honors three times.
PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Penguins forward Ryan Malone left the team Wednesday in Boston and returned to Pittsburgh to be treated by team doctors for an infected cut on his leg.The infection resulted in flu-like symptoms that caused Malone to sit out the Penguins' 4-0 loss to the New York Rangers on Tuesday night.
