It’s been five long years since you left this earth, most days it feels like forever. Forever since we last laughed until we cried, and hugged you in our arms with joy. The day you left to be with Jesus, our lives on this earth changed forever. You were the heart and soul of our family, the glue that held us together, the life of the party. Your light shone so bright that there was an inherent emptiness in every place that you used to be.
We miss your smile and laughter, your silliness, the way your laugh would ignite joy instantly within the rest of us. We miss your voice, the never ending phone calls and the countless times “I love you” was exchanged.
We miss the entirety of who you were, our Mom, our Grandma, our Best Friend.
We will love and miss you every day until the day we are finally reunited in eternity.
