Harriett J. Newcomb passed away on April 21, 2023, at the age of 88 in Sarasota, Fla.

She was born on Aug. 23, 1934.

She leaves behind her husband of 70 years, James H. Newcomb.

Jim and Harriett ran Newcomb’s Arco in Butler from 1965 to 1977.

She also leaves behind two sons, Steven (Becky) Newcomb and Gary Newcomb; four grandchildren, Jillian (Patrick) McCurdy, Christopher (Melissa) Newcomb, Krystal Newcomb and Alyssa Newcomb; and four great-grandchildren, Marin, Maggie, Skyler and Carter.

Harriett was laid to rest on Thursday in Sarasota, Fla.
