H. ‘Gary’ Roudybush

H. “Gary” Roudybush, 89, of Butler, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023.

He was born in Worthington on March 4, 1934, and was the son of the late Roy and Edith (Miller) Roudybush.

After graduating from Worthington High School, Herman served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.

Herman was known to be deeply spiritual, independent, and a stoic man with a willingness to help anyone when needed.

He was a lifetime member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, gun smithing, woodworking, and ballroom dancing with his late wife, Elaine.

Herman was the father of Cheryl Hay; and the grandfather of Kaitlyn, Kassidy and Casey Hay.

He is also survived by his longtime partner, Joyce Wolff.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elaine (Smith) Roudybush; his second wife, Judith (Jurysta) Roudybush; and his brothers, David, Wayne and Gerald Roudybush.

ROUDYBUSH — Family and friends of H. “Gary” Roudybush, who died Monday, April 24, 2023, will be received from noon until 2 p.m. Sunday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
