Frank Monteleone

Frank Natale Monteleone Jr., 52, of Slippery Rock, Slippery Rock Township, Butler County, passed away Saturday in Slippery Rock.

He was born in Grove City, Mercer County, on June 21, 1961, to Frank Natale Monteleone Sr. and Frieda Ann Pink Monteleone.

He lived with his loving companion of 17 years, Bonnie Davis.

Frank graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1979 and became a licensed real estate sales agent and independent contractor for West Real Estate Agency, Inc., Slippery Rock Branch. He owned and managed numerous income producing properties. He took numerous real estate courses through Polley Real Estate Education. He was a member of the Butler County Board of Realtors and had formerly worked for Adobe Mining of Grove City.

He was a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church in Slippery Rock. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed vacationing and going to casinos. He was a man who would bring a smile to your face. He took great pride in his community and worked tirelessly to improve it.

Survivors include his companion, Bonnie at home; Bonnie's two children, Bruce Hairhoger and Victoria “Tori” Crawford and grandchildren, Isabella, Ivan, Aiden, and Ava; his mother, Frieda Monteleone of Slippery Rock; his sister, Lori Monteleone of Carmel Valley, Calif.; his two nieces, Kailee and Marisa Ayyar; and his nephew, Kasey Ayyar.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Monteleone — The friends of Frank Natale Monteleone Jr., who passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, will be received at theSmith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon Saturday. A service will be observed at the funeral home at noon Saturday with Father Kevin Poecking, pastor of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, presiding.A committal service will be at Slippery Rock Cemetery immediately following.Memorial contributions may be given to your local veterans organization.
