MARS —A Teddy Bear Tea for young girls in the Mars area interested in joining Girl Scouts is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Mars United Presbyterian Church.
The Daisy Scout program is for girls in kindergarten through first grade.
Girls attending are to take their favorite teddy bear. Parents will be provided with program information.

HARRISVILLE — The Animal Partners of Butler County will host a rabies clinic from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Harrisville Community Park.Cost is $8 and animals must be at least 13 weeks old.Dogs must be on a leash and cats in a proper carrier.
HARMONY — Professor and author Hermann Ehmer of Stuttgart, Germany, will discuss German roots of the communal Harmony at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Harmony Museum's Stewart Hall, 218 Mercer St. The Society founded Butler County's town of Harmony.The program begins with a 7 p.m. reception for Ehmer and his wife, Judith, a native of Ambridge.Admission is free.
