Dennis M. “D.J.” Feltz Jr., 32, of Rochester, Pa., died suddenly Friday in the Heritage Valley Medical Center, Beaver.

He was born March 31, 1981, in McKeesport, Pa., and was the son of Dennis M. Feltz of Evans City and Denise S. Zelinski-Feltz Detwiler of Butler.

He was a member of the St. Christopher on the Lake Catholic Church, Prospect.

He worked in the construction industry. D.J. was an avid hunter.

He is survived by his parents and stepfather, William Detwiler; three sisters, Laura (Sean) Griffith, Mary Feltz and Beth (Anthony) Fleming, all of Butler; nieces and nephews, Abigail, Chloe Blue, Lydia, Mathew, Seamus, Lennon and Killian; and his best friend, Amber Delprete.

FELTZ — The family of Dennis M. “D.J.” Feltz Jr., who died Friday, April 26, 2013, will receive friends and relatives from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Christopher on the Lake Catholic Church, Prospect.
