Daniel L. 'Bald Eagle' Foxwell
Daniel L. “Bald Eagle” Foxwell, 39, of Lower Paxton Township went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday at the Hershey Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on July 4, 1974, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Weldon Foxwell and Connie (Wadding) McCafferty.
Dan was a graduate of Joppatowne High School and Clarion University.
He was a survey technician for Susquehanna Civil, Inc.
He was a valued member of the Crosspoint Church, Harrisburg, where he was a trustee and involved with youth ministries, mission trips and hospitality teams, as well as many other activities. Dan was a gifted softball player for many teams, most recently for his church and My Gym softball team, Mechanicsburg. Dan loved all sports, and was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, Notre Dame and the Baltimore Orioles. Mostly, he was a loving husband, father and son; and was a giving and faithful friend to all who knew him.
Surviving are his beloved wife and best friend of almost 15 years, Natalie J. (Tonini) Foxwell; his precious children, daughter, Rylee, and twin sons, Tyler and Conner; his mother and stepfather, Connie and John McCafferty of Dayton, Pa.; his aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends, all of who will miss him dearly.
FOXWELL — There will be a viewing for Daniel L. “Bald Eagle” Foxwell, who passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at his church, the Crosspoint Church, 430 Colonial Road, Harrisburg, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. An additional viewing will be from 11 a.m. until noon Saturday at his church. A celebration of his life will be at noon Saturday at his church with Pastors Dave Biser, Jen Williams and Josh Maatman officiating.Contributions may be made to a trust fund for Rylee, Tyler and Conner Foxwell, c/o Natalie Foxwell, Members First Credit Union, 5000 Louise Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.Kimmel Funeral Home, Harrisburg, Pa., is entrusted with the arrangements.
