The winter storm has closed all public schools in Butler County — Butler, South Butler, Mars, Seneca Valley, Slippery Rock, Moniteau, Karns City, Freeport and Allegheny-Clarion Valley Wednesday.

Butler Catholic, Butler County Community College, Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic and Portersville Christian School are also closed Wednesday.

The start of the school day will be delayed two hours at Slippery Rock University.
