Rita K. Foster

Rita K. Foster of Gibsonia, formerly of Butler, passed away Monday at her residence.

Born in Butler, she was a daughter of the late William L. and Kathryn Black Murrin.

She retired from Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh, where she had worked as a personnel director.

Rita previously lived with her husband in Boynton Beach, Fla., before his passing. She then moved to St. Barnabas, where she was a very avid volunteer and leader in all activities.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

Surviving are her nephews, Larry Sinz and James Patrick (Jean) Sinz; and a grandniece, Mindy Sinz.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Foster, whom she married Aug. 23, 1952.
