Sandra Steighner, 69, of Freeport, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023.

She was born in Butler on Aug. 29, 1953, and was the daughter of the late Maynard Barnes and Margaret (Marrow) Champagne.

Sandra graduated from Butler High School.

She enjoyed fishing, watching the Steelers and being with her family. She absolutely loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her sense of humor was out of this world. Sandra was such a loving, caring mom and grandma.

Sandra was the mother of Brittany (James), Harold, Tim (Ryan), Mike (Tracy), Joe and Marissa (Dan); the sister of Donald and Jeffery Barnes; and the grandmother of eight.

STEIGHNER — Family and friends of Sandra Steighner, who died Thursday, April 13, 2023, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 16, 2023, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
