Cranberry Township Maker Faire slated for May 6
The Cranberry Township Maker Faire will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at Ehrman Crest School, 2070 Ehrman Road.
The Maker Faire is a community-focused event that celebrates do-it-yourself creativity and tinkering.
Featuring both established and emerging local “makers,” the Maker Faire highlights do-it-yourself science and technology projects and unique hand-made crafts. Some of the participating makers include groups focused on robotics and 3D printing, representatives from Cranberry Public Library’s makerspace, and students from local schools.
Started by Make Magazine in 2006, Maker Faire has since grown into a significant worldwide network of both flagship and independently-produced events.
Admission to the Maker Faire is free. More information can be found at cranberrytownship.makerfaire.com.
