Wetzel

Cheryl Ann Wetzel, 61, of Buffalo Township, passed away peacefully April 11, 2023, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Cheryl was born in Natrona Heights on June 9, 1961, and was the daughter of Sophia (Raszkowski) Crawford and the late Lloyd Paul Crawford.

Cheryl was a 1979 graduate of Highlands High School. She then graduated from New Ken Commercial as an administrative assistant.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of 40 years and the love of her life, Charles “Chuck” Wetzel; her four children, Chad Ryan, Jason Charles, Ashly Ann and Calvin Blake; eight grandchildren, Sadey Ann, Xzavier Paul, Claudia Lynn, Nathan Lloyd, Owen Wade, Claira Lucille, Lainey Ryan and Finnegan Rhys; her mother, Sophia Crawford; and her brothers, Paul, Kevin and Tim Crawford.

WETZEL — Per the family’s request, there will be no public visitation for Cheryl Ann Wetzel, who died Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

Arrangements are under the direction of REDMOND FUNERAL HOME in Freeport.
