Fred Lee Bradford
Fred Lee Bradford, 70, of Hemlock Road, Petrolia, passed away at 2 a.m. Sunday at his home following a lingering illness.
He was born in Big Stone Gap, Va., July 26, 1940, and was the only son of the late Milton Bradford and Rosie Wallace Bradford.
He was a Protestant and was a graduate of the Karns City High School, Class of 1960.
Following high school graduation, he served with the U.S. Army.
He married the former Phyllis Early in Butler on Jan. 1, 1962, and she preceded him in death on March 27, 1997.
Surviving are a son, Frederick Leroy Bradford and his wife, Barbara, of Bruin; a daughter, Rose Ellen Jenkins and her husband, Homer E., of Petrolia; five grandchildren, Corissa Rose Jenkins and Matthew Lee Jenkins, both of Petrolia, Christina Waldenville and her husband, Allen, of Karns City and Megan Leigh Bradford and Taryn Rose Bradford, both of Bruin; and two great-grandchildren, Landen Lee Waldenville and Lienna Lynn Waldenville, both of Karns City.
Preceding him in death, along with his parents, was his only sister, Minnie Patterson.
<B>BRADFORD</B> — Private interment services for Fred Lee Bradford, who died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, will be held by members of his family at the Bear Creek Cemetery, and a luncheon will be Saturday at the Chicora VFW for family and invited friends.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>Richard D.
