Members of the Butler High School Class of 1950, as part of their 65th reunion activities, will meet at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the chapel at the Butler County Memorial Cemetery for a “Moment of Memory.” The group will remember those who have moved on. Scout Stewards program offeredBRADY TWP — Registration opens at 9 a.m. Monday for Scout Stewards, a special learning and volunteering experience that will be from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 27 at Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Road.The event, part of a National Public Lands Day weekend, is for Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts from the Junior Girl Scout and Webelo Scout ages/levels and up.The Scouts will discover the importance of maintaining resources on public lands and participate in a volunteer project to help the park. BRADY TWP — The Awesome Spirit Of Wildlife, a local youth wildlife conservation group, and Skye's Spirit Wildlife Rehabilitation Center will host “Wild Spirit,” a live animal presentation at 2 p.m. Aug. 29 at Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Road.The program will showcase various native and exotic reptiles, amphibians, birds and mammals.Admission is free; donations will be accepted. All proceeds will further TASOW's and Skye's Spirit's ongoing missions of wildlife conservation through education and rehabilitation.
