Laura A. Herold
Laura A. Herold, 92, of Butler passed away peacefully Thursday at Concordia at the Orchard.
She was born Aug. 31, 1925, in Mount Chestnut and was a daughter of the late Leroy Stephenson and the late Celia Bellis Stephenson.
She was a graduate of Butler High School. Laura retired from the Food Service Department of Butler Area Schools.
Laura is survived by her one son, Edward (Suzie) Herold of West Sunbury; two daughters, Mary (Frank) Parise of Greenville and Linda (Les) Barto of Chicora; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe W. Herold, whom she married on Nov. 21, 1944, and who passed away on May 13, 2013; and two grandchildren, Frankie and Chris.
HEROLD — Friends of Laura A. Herold, who died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
