BUTLER TWP — Butler County Community College's Pioneer Players will stage “Baggage” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Succop Theater.

The romantic comedy starts with two people who pick up the wrong bag at the airport. The play features four BC3 students: Kimberly Nutter, Jarrod Hull, Justin Yates and Caitlyn Delien.

Directed by Larry Stock and Mike Beck, the play is being staged in a black box format with the audience sitting on stage with the set, the first time this has been done for a play at the Succop Theater.

HARMONY — Harmony Museum's WeihnachtsMarkt German-style Christmas market will have a record number of artisans and vendors for the festival Nov. 9 and 10.Presenters include 50 artisans and specialty vendors, museum quilters and weavers, and musical groups. Additional attractions are food purveyors, children's activities at a log house, the museum's model railroad displays, and horse-drawn wagon rides.Visitors are asked to take nonperishable food items for donation to a local food bank.Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 9 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 10.Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for senior citizens, $3 for students, and free for children under 6.

PITTSBURGH — The Heinz History Center will host a “Civil War Genealogy Workshop” from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. Nationally recognized genealogy lecturer Craig Scott will discuss research methods that will help to shed light on Civil War family history.“Pennsylvania's Civil War,” an exhibit featuring 150 artifacts, continues through Jan. 5.Center admission is $15 for adults, $13 for senior citizens, $6 for children ages 6 to 17, and free for children 5 and younger.
